Brothers and Co-workers
Thank You for the opportunity to serve you as Administrator. There already have been a few changes around here, one Dorothy Murphy retiring as our Head cook/Kitchen Manager, she sure kept saying she was going to do it, and did it she did, Dort we want to thank you for your many years serving us up your wonderful meals and desserts! That which brings on the next change, Dorothy’s retirement brings us Karin Fitzgerald, hailing from Juniata County, and with great reviews! Please take time to introduce yourself to Karin and please give her the respect she deserves, as she has some great ideas and recipes to add to our menu. I will be spending my evenings here in the office and about the lodge, please don’t hesitate to stop me and express your thoughts and concerns, however keep in mind; no business shall be discussed at the bar. As I take time to evaluate the profits and losses, please be aware that there may be some need to fluctuate some prices to fit the rising costs of our inventory. We realize we service great members, who pay yearly dues, however we are also a business which needs to operate above the red line. And as always we welcome any time you may give up helping with our volunteer functions, just speak to our Governor, myself or any officer so we may get you started. Congratulations goes out to our very own, “TEAM MOOSE” relay for life team, they took second place this year with approximately $13,000!! Finally, I invite everyone to watch for the improvements being done in our bowling facility, “New Lanes”! New synthetic lanes will be installed in the coming months; this comes as one improvement that is necessary to keep the facility in sanctioned condition, and will defiantly last for a long time. Now we will see if we can finally get a 300 game bowled in house, at least one that counts, how about it Kyle….? That’s all for now, stay tuned…..
