Special Election
Upon the resignation of Lodge Treasurer, John Graham, for health and personal reasons, we will be accepting nominations for lodge treasurer from now until August 31, 2010 6pm. At which time the nomination committee will meet and select those most qualified for the position. If there is more than one good standing member nominated, there will be a special election held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 1-8pm. At which time the election committee will announce during the lodge meeting at 8pm, however if the office is uncontested the lodge administrator can cast a unanimous ballet at the lodge meeting.

Any "good standing" lodge member may fill out a nomination form to be considered for nomination. (Available from the office or from any officer)

***This position will be to finish the one year term ending on April 30, 2011.

Thanks for all you do!

Fraternally,

Matthew Reik

Help Mooseheart School win $500,000!!!
A Few Mouse Clicks Mean $500,000 to Mooseheart School ... or Not.

If, by just clicking a computer mouse a few times over five to ten minutes, you could send a HALF-MILLION DOLLARS to help Mooseheart's kids, you'd do it -- wouldn't you?

We sure hope so.

Thanks to Kohl's department stores, that's the opportunity we Moose members have!

Between now and Friday evening, September 3, by just "voting" for Mooseheart School as your "favorite school" on the "Kohl's Cares" page on Facebook, we Moose members can get that $500,000 from Kohl's Cares Foundation for Mooseheart School!

That's $500,000 we then WON'T need to ask from the men and women of the Moose to help operate Mooseheart's school this year!

If you have a Facebook account (easy to set up), if you're 13 or older, and you're a U.S. resident -- just go to http://apps.facebook.com/KohlsCares, follow the directions to vote the maximum allowed FIVE (5) times for Mooseheart School -- and that's all there is to it!

Please ask your spouse, your family and all your friends to do the same!

If Mooseheart School finishes among the top 20 schools in nationwide voting, we'll receive a Kohl's Cares check, payable to Mooseheart School, in the amount of $500,000!

It costs you $0 -- just a few minutes of your time! What an easy way to fulfill our membership obligation to "support Mooseheart with my energy and substance"!

PLEASE don't let this opportunity pass us by! Your Mooseheart students need you to vote, NOW!

Warm fraternal regards,
William B. Airey (Director General) and Scott Hart (Executive Director)

As the new Administrator of the Lodge, I would like to begin by thanking the Board of Officers for accepting and employing me for this position, and to all the members who have expressed their confidence in me. My goals are to perform this position to the best of my knowledge, to continue to strengthen our membership, and to keep our Lodge financially secure so that all our members will benefit from this great organization.
On behalf of all the members here at the Moose Family Center, we wish Sam Sherman, our former Administrator, a long and happy retirement.
And, in closing, a congratulations is in order to our Governor, Matthew Reik, for being conferred upon in the House of God at Mooseheart for the Pilgrim’s degree.
