ADMINISTRATOR’S COMMENTS
It is hard to believe that another year is in the record books. The start of a new year is another chance. It is another chance to start the project that you put off last year. It is another chance to take that vacation that you didn’t take. It is another chance to reach out to a friend or family member that you lost touch with. It is a chance to look back at the last year and think about how many lives that you have enhanced by being a Moose member. It is a chance to become more involved in the Moose. The Moose touches many lives, and makes many donations to uncounted charities that help even more people. Without your help, none of this would be possible. I want to thank everyone for their support.
Our Lodge has seen many improvements this past year, and it will see many more in the months to come.
We have a good group of Officers, which all have the same motivation, making this Lodge the best that it can be. Volunteers are also a vital part of the operation of our Lodge. Without them, most of our functions would not take place. The next time that you come in for a meal, or participate in one of our events, take the time to thank our volunteers for making that event possible. If you have an hour or two that you can help, please let us know. We need more people to get involved. As I have quoted many times, one of my favorites, “A burden heavy to one is borne lightly by many”.
We have received many compliments and suggestions on what people would like to see happen in our Lodge. We are moving forward with some of these ideas and would like to hear more. There will be another suggestion box placed in the Social Quarters. We hope that you will let us know how you feel or if you have any ideas for improvements. We are also hosting a town Hall meeting on Tuesday, January 31st at 7:00 PM. Please come in and share your ideas and concerns.
Keep watching for more improvements, additional functions, and food specials. Have a safe and Happy New Year. Thank you for being a Moose.
Fraternally,
Bud Balliet
