Lewistown FC 143 Moose Riders donate over $600.00 of food to Mother Hubbard's Cupboard in time for the Holidays.

Lewistown Moose Riders held a raffle at the Lodge and collected over $400.00. This money was all used to purchase food items to be added to the over $200.00 worth of food already donated. Mother Hubbard's Cupboard food pantry is a volunteer organization that provides food item to our neighbors in need. Helping to keep the pantry stocked is a continued effort for the Lewistown Moose Riders. We place donation boxes at our main door and do regular functions to raise money. (Please see "Photo Section" of this site)

"CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY WHILE ENJOYING THE OPEN ROAD"

Upon the resignation of Lodge Treasurer, John Graham, for health and personal reasons, we will be accepting nominations for lodge treasurer from now until August 31, 2010 6pm. At which time the nomination committee will meet and select those most qualified for the position. If there is more than one good standing member nominated, there will be a special election held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 1-8pm. At which time the election committee will announce during the lodge meeting at 8pm, however if the office is uncontested the lodge administrator can cast a unanimous ballet at the lodge meeting.

Any "good standing" lodge member may fill out a nomination form to be considered for nomination. (Available from the office or from any officer)

***This position will be to finish the one year term ending on April 30, 2011.

And as always great food and beverages for all.(Kettle Veg soup, hot dogs/sausage sandwiches/BBQ Chic/Baked Beans/Mac & Pot Salad/Corn on the Cob/Watermelon/Draft Beer/Soda...............

If you cannot come to this event and enjoy $45 worth of food and drink, then we must be doing something wrong...You see where I'm going with this? Yes, I want to state that this event alone will in itself return to you what we ask you to pay in dues each year. (Of course for the Co-Workers that would be just a mere $25 in return.)

So the "Time is Now", please continue your membership in the lodge and chapter and continue your much vauled support!!
