Happy New Year Brothers and Co-Workers,
By working together we can make our lodge stronger and more prosperous in the coming year.
Sign a member or volunteer to help. We are planning several fundraisers and activities for the
coming year. Please watch the newsletters and bulletin boards for the information and flyers for
these events. The first new event on March 21st 6pm – 10pm will be a “Beef & Brew”, this is an
evening of fun and fellowship while raising money for the lodge. It will be an all you care to eat
sliced beef sandwich with sides and draft soda and draft beer plus a full cash bar, raffles, drawings
and gambling and DJ and a commemorative glass. Tickets will be available in the coming days at
the bar. They will be $40 a couple and $25 single in advance and $50 couple and $30 single at the
door. (This event will be open to the public) Hopefully this will be a semi-annual or annual event.
Cash Bash tickets for March 14th are now on sale, get them while you still can don’t wait!
In light of numerous rumors and miss-information being circulated, we have scheduled a “Town
Hall” style meeting on Sunday, January 25th from 1pm to ?? for LOOM and WOTM members to
hear information and ask questions of the lodge and bring suggestions and ideas forward, this will
give our members a chance to hear it straight from the source and cancel out any rumors
circulating. We will also hold an Australian ballot vote on Wednesday, January 28th from 1pm to
8pm for the sole purpose of approving the motion to obtain a financial loan from Moose
International in order to regain our financial stability of the lodge. This vote will be open to all good
standing members of the lodge (lodge members, NOT chapter members), at 8pm there will be a
brief special meeting for the votes to be counted and an announcement of the vote.
On a final note, I am pleased to announce that beginning March 2nd our kitchen hours will be
expanded being open every day of the week, Sunday thru Saturday opening at 11:30 am serving
thru evening. Please watch for postings.
Please remember to update your membership records with Moose International or at the lodge if
you have a change of address, name, phone number or email.
