It is hard to believe that it is already January. It is a new year, a new beginning, and a
chance for a fresh start. That is what we need to do here at the Moose. Yes, we have had
plenty of bumps in the road, but that was last year. It is now 2016 and time for a new start.
Let’s begin with a few of the rumors: Our Lodge is not closing. We have been here for
over 100 years and with your support we will be here for many more. We have many
good members that would never let that happen. We are having some financial
difficulties, but with your help, we will be fine. We need you, our members, to come in
for a meal or a drink and show your support.
You will notice some changes in the future: some fresh paint, several different bands on
Saturday evenings, a few different menu items, and we are considering some new
Again, I cannot stress enough that we need your help. Most of our activities are done with
volunteers. If you have an hour or two to spare, come in and lend a hand. Any help is
greatly appreciated. I want to thank those of you that do volunteer. Also, thank you, to
our Officers, and our staff. These people work very hard to make our Moose one of the
